Buffalo Hospital has grown right along with the community. That has necessitated a two-fold approach
to the hospital’s marketing messages: to define itself not only as a the best care within Wright County, but also of comparable (if not higher) quality than the metro area hospitals that are a relatively short drive away.
Over the years, Buffalo Hospital has expanded its birth center and surgical center; added sports medicine and partnered with Sister Kenny in rehabilitation therapy;
and enhanced its ER and orthopedic care.
Each new improvement was trumpeted in its own campaign, normally consisting of newspaper ads; outdoor boards; direct mail, and radio scripts. TV commercials were also produced, making creative use of inexpensive footage and post-production techniques to compensate
for the extremely low budget per spot.
Buffalo’s high-quality-on-modest-budget advertising has drawn compliments from other hospitals; inquiries on direct mail offers have exceeded expectations.
